Our relation is a listed commodity organisation with their european headoffice based in Rotterdam.

The business analyst will be a vital member of the team responsible for planning, tracking, analyzing and achieving business results. The Business Analyst plays a key role in the coordination between the Asian, European and North America's commercial teams and the finance function.
In this role you teams up with business finance leaders, VP's, commercial team Leaders. To be successful in the job you will be trained in specific market the business focuses on. Furthermore you’ve to act as a business partner towards the business. You have to be curious towards all business drivers, show desire to improve results and continually improve processes and growth of business profitably in a low margin high volume environment with a strong cost focus.

• Tracking and valuation of pricing actions and the impact on the business results.
• Tracking and valuation of productivity projects according to six sigma
• modelling of working capital impact of various commercial team decisions
• Analyzing liquidity/cash performance and briefing sales manager on their customer details in advance of monthly cash calls.
• Assist in the annual financial plans and forecasts
• Assist the business finance leader with requests from external reporting group and internal auditors to provide information requested.
• Participate in the maintenance / creation of policies and procedures
• Assist commercial team members and business finance leader in drafting and summarizing new contracts for executive review and preparing deal summary documents
• Assist in SOX ongoing compliance
• Create internal reporting for commercial team management and finance management that highlight issues and drive business results
• Assist on ad hoc special projects and issues as needed.

• Academic degree, MBA is a plus
• 5-10 years work experience. Some experience in the commodity business is a plus.
• High level conceptual however pragmatically flexible approach
• Business oriented, be a true business partner with excellent verbal qualities and easy to understand reporting
• Fast growing towards management role (1-2 years), responsibility
• Thorough Excell knowledge as well as SAP fico/BW
• Self starter, pro-active attitude, finisher
• Excellent analytical, problem solving organizational an project management skills
• Demonstrate multitasking ability in a fast pace environment with deadlines

Salarisindicatie: 50000 tot 80000 EUR per jaar
